About ColorwayKit

ColorwayKit is a free web tool that turns one brand color into a complete, accessible light & dark web theme: 20 semantic tokens, WCAG 2.1 + APCA contrast checks with one-click fixes, real-page previews, and copy-paste code — CSS, Tailwind, JSON, W3C DTCG design tokens, a component stylesheet and a self-contained preview page.

Everything runs fast and mostly in your browser. The color engine is deterministic: the same brand color always produces the same theme, so you can trust what you ship.

Who is behind it

Hi — I'm an independent developer building ColorwayKit in public. I kept running into the same gap: palette generators stop at five swatches, while the real work — contrast fixes, semantic naming, dark mode, handing code to a project — is all manual.ColorwayKit exists to close that gap, and the core of it stays free.
